Murray hopes for home tie for Team GB
Judy Murray will breathe a sigh of relief after learning that Team GB have avoided world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka in the Fed Cup promotion play-off.
Neither Britain nor Azarenka's Belarus have been seeded for next week's World Group II play-offs, meaning they cannot face each other. Murray's side, who won all four ties at the Europe/Africa Group I event in Israel last week, could face France, Switzerland, Sweden or Argentina.
However, they could have the benefit of home advantage for the first time in 19 years, with the venue decided by lot at the draw, which takes place in London on February 14.
"We would love a home tie to experience the type of atmosphere the guys get in Davis Cup," Murray told BBC Sport. "It would be a great showcase for the British women and a chance to get more girls into our sport."
