Kevin Sinfield scored a try and produced an immaculate kicking performance as Leeds Rhinos beat Warrington Wolves 26-18 in the Super League Grand Final.

The victory means that Rhinos, who finished fifth in the table, have become the Super League's most successful club.

Leeds rediscovered their knack of peaking at the crucial point of the season, netting their fifth Grand Final triumph in the last six years.

Sinfield, the leader of the Rhinos, was twice sent sprawling by bone-cruching collisions - and twice got back up to inspire his side to victory.

He kicked five goals from as many attempts, and was handed the Harry Sunderland Trophy for man of the match.

Warrington were hot favourites to be crowned Grand Final champions on their maiden Old Trafford appearance, and they led heading into the third quarter thanks to tries from Richie Myler, Joel Monaghan and Ryan Atkins.

But late scores from Carl Ablett and Ryan Hall - to go with those from Sinfield and Ben Jones-Bishop - made the difference for the Rhinos.
