Amir Khan feels he will be in the last-chance saloon when he takes on Carlos Molina at the weekend.

Khan steps into the ring against the unbeaten Molina in Los Angeles on the back of two straight defeats, to Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia.

The Bolton fighter has moved to arrest the slide by switching trainers from Freddie Roach to Virgil Hunter and he claims to now be a smarter fighter. The test will come against Molina on Saturday and he is ready for battle.

"My opponent will be confident, he is coming in off a win, I'm coming in off a defeat," Khan told Sky Sports News. "He will be up for this fight. He might think I'm low and it is a good time to fight me, but I am in great shape and am ready and hungry for the win.

"I can't make any more mistakes, this is the last chance. I have to put everything together.

"It seems the jigsaw is complete now, I've got a new trainer, the camp has been great and I am calm. I am ready to get that win now."
