Bolt confident of Moscow hat-trick

Usain Bolt believes he is on track to repeat his Olympic treble at this year's World Athletics Championships in Moscow.

Bolt, who sealed his place in the history books when he became the first man to successfully defend both his 100m and 200m Olympic titles at London 2012, wants to repeat the feat in Russia this summer with victory in both sprint events as well as the 4x100m relay.

The Jamaican had suggested he would consider switching to the 400m or long jump for the Rio Olympics in 2016, but has since reiterated his commitment to the sprint events.

Bolt, who surrendered his 100m title to training partner Yohan Blake at the 2011 World Athletics Championships after he was disqualified for a false start in the final, has confirmed his participation at the Bislett Games Diamond League meeting in Oslo on June 13.

"The aim for 2013 is the IAAF World Championships in Moscow in August," Bolt said. "My goal is to win three gold medals and repeat my Olympic Games success.

"My preparations have been good this autumn, I am injury free, working hard and everything is according to plan. I hope to come to Bislett prepared and ready to run a great race."
