Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has moved to dispel new rumours of a summer move to join Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich.

Suarez's future at Anfield has long been the subject of much speculation, despite the Uruguay international repeatedly insisting he is happy and settled at the Merseyside club.

However, recent reports suggested that Suarez's head could be turned by the opportunity to move to Bayern Munich in the summer - joining up with former Barcelona manager Guardiola, who is set to take over at the Allianz Arena ahead of the new campaign.

But, while acknowledging that it would be an honour to be wanted by a coach like Guardiola, Suarez insisted he was not contemplating a move at the end of the season.

"We all know how important Guardiola is and the many things he won at Barcelona. He must know a thing or two about football," Suarez told Uruguayan radio station Sport 890. "But if I'm being honest, I don't ever stop to read what is being said about me in the press - it would drive me mad as I'm linked to so many clubs.

"The day a concrete offer comes for me to the club, we will sit down and do what's best for everyone.

"But I'm happy here. The Premier League is the best league there is."

He added: "I watch a lot of football in my spare time but the most attractive for me is English football - I want to stay here. I'm very happy here."
