- Northern Trust Open, Round Three
Donald fading in Haas' wake

Northern Trust Open leaderboard
Luke Donald's hunt for a sixth PGA Tour win at the Northern Trust Open was dented by a hazardous front nine which meant he could only card a one-under 70.
The Englishman's third round was his worst of the competition and he dropped shots at the second, fourth and seventh holes before resuscitating his round.
A particular highlight of the recovery was a stunning approach shot from behind a tree at the 13th.
Donald is eight-under overall, good enough for tied fifth place with Fredrik Jacobson and the pair are four shots behind leader Bill Haas.
Defending champions Haas shot an excellent round of seven-under, which featured an eagle at the tenth hole and five birdies.
He has now not bogeyed a hole at the Riviera Country Club in 49 holes and has a three-shot lead over the second-placed trio of Webb Simpson, Charl Schwartzel and John Merrick.
The overnight leader Sang-Moon Bae from South Korea sunk without trace on the leaderboard as he shot a round of five over.
Sergio Garcia went round in two-under but any final-day designs on victory he has will be tempered by his six-shot deficit.
