Tsonga confirms return to Queen's
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will prepare for this year's Wimbledon tournament by playing in the AEGON Championships this summer.
Tsonga, who has reached the Wimbledon semi-finals in each of the past two years, is hoping to go further in the 2013 iteration as he continues his hunt for a maiden grand slam title.
The Frenchman will play at the AEGON Championships for a fourth time, staying consistent with his preparation for the past two Wimbledon events.
Tsonga reached the final at Queen's Club two years ago - losing to Andy Murray in the final before reaching the last four at Wimbledon. Last year he fell to Ivan Dodig - although Tsonga was far from 100 per cent fit.
"The AEGON Championships is what tennis is all about. It is full of history. For me you cannot have a better tennis tournament. It's a special place," Tsonga said.
"I entered the top-100 for the first time at Queen's Club (in 2007) when I beat Lleyton Hewitt, who was the defending champion. It was also the first time that I did my dance celebration and the British people loved it.
"I've always played well on grass, I expect to win tournaments on it, so we will see what happens at Queen's and at Wimbledon."
