Chelsea captain John Terry is part of Chelsea's 25-player party to travel to Netherlands for the Europa League final.

Terry went off injured in Saturday's Premier League match with Aston Villa but joins the squad that will train at the Amsterdam Arena on Tuesday evening ahead of Wednesday's showdown with Benfica.

Chelsea have been tight lipped on the severity of Terry's ankle injury, which was scanned on Monday. The defender will be particularly keen to recover having missed last season's Champions League final victory against Bayern Munich.

Ryan Bertrand is also on the trip despite a recent knee injury, with the left-back hoping to complete a personal European double having been a surprise starter in Munich.

John Obi Mikel, out for the last four matches with a hip problem, and Oriol Romeu, who has not featured since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in December, also join the trip, along with Nathan Ake who did not play in Monda'y night's FA Youth Cup defeat to Norwich.

Demba Ba has made the trip but the striker will not feature as he is cup-tied having played earlier in the competition for Newcastle.
