The world's fastest hole-in-one

Up-and-coming English golfer Jake Shepherd and F1 legend David Coulthard headed to the Top Gear track in Surrey where the pair combined to create the world's fastest hole-in-one.

The golf ball left Shepherd's driver face at 178mph and was carefully judged by Coulthard who caught it 300 yards away in the cockpit of his Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster travelling at 120mph.

The feat was independently verified by a Guinness World Record adjudicator who confirmed the achievement of furthest golf shot caught in a moving car.
