Andy Murray will warm up for Wimbledon when he takes on former former champion Lleyton Hewitt on Thursday.

Murray has just two matches on grass under his belt after the defence of his Queen's title ended at the hands of Mardy Fish in the third round, but the world No. 4 will gain some extra match practice when he meets the Halle champion in an exhibition match at the exclusive Hurlingham Club.

Andy Roddick, Robin Soderling and David Ferrer have also confirmed they will play at the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic in Fulham.

"He would have liked to have played a couple more matches last week but he has a couple of exhibition matches lined up this week, Murray's mother Judy told Press Association Sport. "He is playing Lleyton Hewitt on Thursday so he'll start to build in more competitive match practice into his preparation from Thursday onwards."

Judy Murray insisted her son would be fully fit for Wimbledon despite an ongoing knee problem. Murray wore strapping on his right knee at Queen's, but Judy Murray dismissed concerns over his fitness.

"Andy's knee is something he was born with, so he has always had to deal with it," she said."A change of surfaces inflames it a bit but he has a physio working with him full time so it's very carefully looked after."
