Liverpool hopeful on Moreno deal
Liverpool are pushing ahead with their attempt to sign Spain's Alberto Moreno from Sevilla - but are refusing to be held to ransom.
The club have been in talks to sign 21-year-old left-back Moreno, but are unwilling to pay the current asking price, sources have told ESPN. Sevilla reportedly want £18 million for the defender with the bulk of it paid up front, which is said to be the major sticking point.

Liverpool are prepared to be patient in order to get Moreno for what they believe is a more realistic price, and will continue to pursue a deal.
Reports in Spain over the last few days were premature with suggestions that a fee had been agreed and that Moreno would be flying to England for a medical on Monday.
Liverpool believe that Sevilla were trying to suggest, via the Spanish press, that a deal was close to completion in order to draw out other interested clubs and spark an auction for the player.
No deal is imminent, though, and manager Brendan Rodgers is not expecting that to change over the next few days.
Moreno, a graduate of the youth set-up at Sevilla, has played three times for Spain but missed out on their World Cup squad.
Rodgers is also continuing to pursue a move for Southampton and England midfielder Adam Lallana.
