Following Liverpool's revelation that they could sell off the naming rights to their new stadium, we put our thinking caps on to think of a suitable sponsor. Moneysupermarket.com perhaps?

Quite clearly, the Disney Stadium (where all your dreams come true) would not work for a club like Middlesbrough, so we've attempted to come up with the most suitable sponsors for the globe's greatest sporting arenas.

The TAG Heuer Stadium - Manchester United
Sponsored by arguably the most famous watchmaker brand in the world, surely even Sir Alex Ferguson could chew on his gum a little easier in United's new home. When his team are a goal down in the dying minutes, the United boss could rest assured the referee would allow for a generous amount of stoppage time to give his side time to find a late equaliser.

The Early Learning Centre - Arsenal
"The place where little ones can explore"; where the young ones develop vital skills and explore the boundaries of their imaginations and creativity. A perfect breeding ground for years of nurturing but no end product perfectly reflects Arsene Wenger's footballing philosophy.

The Elmlea Arena - Wimbledon
Heaven forbid that the All England Club ever has to sink to selling their naming rights to a sponsor, but the irony would not be lost on British tennis fans who would choke on their Pimms if the hallowed turf of Centre Court were to be sponsored by dairy-free artificial cream.

The Phones4u Sports Ground - Manchester City
Interested in the best pay-as-you-go deals on the market? Look no further than Manchester City. For just one Joleon Lescott, City will give you £22 million. Want a shorter top-up? Just hand over one Wayne Bridge and City will give you £12 million. Don't miss out now.

Joke Shop Park - Harlequins
No April Fools' Day would be complete without a few practical jokes. Whoopee cushions, disappearing ink and fake spiders are all available down at the Stoop for all sorts of pranks. Warning, fake blood not to be kept in rugby socks.

The Dreams Stadium - Blackpool
Highly tipped to be relegated from the Championship last season, the Seasiders achieved what many thought was impossible - winning the play-offs to reach the Premier League for the first time in their history. Having been a dead-cert to go down, they stunned Wigan 4-0 on the opening day of the season and continue to defy the odds, doing the double over Liverpool and beating Tottenham at Bloomfield Road.

The Injury Lawyers 4U race track - Singapore
Have you had an accident that's not your fault? After being axed by Renault, Nelson Piquet Jnr alleged that he had been asked by the team to deliberately crash at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. The accident prompted the introduction of the safety car 14 laps into the race - propelling team-mate Fernando Alonso into the lead in the dash to pit and enabling him to eventually take victory. Piquet may never get another chance to race in Formula One, but he ensured he left the sport reeling in the wake of the crashgate controversy.

The Cash4Gold Stadium - Birmingham
Got any old unwanted assets? Take them to Carson Yeung who will turn your unwanted gold into cash. Recent offers include £9 million for Ryan Babel and £10 million for Kenwyne Jones.

Tiger Beer Golf Course
Augusta National, home of the Masters - set to be renamed after Singapore brand Tiger Beer. The site where history was made, the home of the Tiger Slam. With three majors already in his possession, Tiger Woods became the first man to own the modern game's four most important pieces of hardware at the same time when he claimed victory here in 2001. Although a shadow of the player that won here, Woods clearly feels at home at Augusta, where he holds the records for youngester winner when he won in 1997 aged 21, as well as the biggest winning margin and lowest winning score.

Lastminute.com race track - Interlagos
Need a helping hand to get to where you need to be? Let lastminute.com find the right flight for your circumstances. Lewis Hamilton looked to have let the 2008 world championship slip from his grasp, but on the final lap of the Brazilian Grand Prix, Hamilton overtook Timo Glock to deny Felipe Massa the crown.
