Worcester Warriors have completed the signing of Scotland fly-half Tom Heathcote.

Heathcote will join the Championship side at the end of the season from Edinburgh and will be no stranger to English domestic rugby having started his career at Bath. Heathcote scored 375 points in 53 games for Bath and has two Scotland caps to his name.

Heathcote said: "I'm really looking forward to joining Worcester. It is a great opportunity for me to join a club with so much potential and a bright future. Having met with Dean Ryan, he outlined his vision for the club moving forward and it is very much something I want to be a part of and contribute towards. With a young squad, great facilities and infrastructure the club is very attractive to me as a player."

Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan said: "I am delighted that Tom has recognised the pathway this club is on and has chosen to play a role in our future as we look to become a successful Premiership side. Tom has experienced international rugby at a young age and has illustrated his talents across different competitions so I have no doubt he will flourish in the environment we are creating at Sixways."
