Bristol notched their first win of the season with a 39-11 victory over Toulon in their European Challenge Cup Pool 2 clash at the Memorial Ground. Outside-half Adrian Jarvis punished the big-spending French outfit's ill-discipline with six penalties in 22-point haul that also included conversions following tries from Vungakoto Lilo and England international Dan Ward-Smith. Captain Joe El-Abd scored late on to complete the victory that reignites Bristol's campaign in Pool 2 of the European Challenge Cup following defeat to Montpellier. Orene Ai'i crossed after 13 minutes but Toulon, led by former All Black Jerry Collins, rarely looked like winning and are now struggling to make it past the pool stage.
