Brive ran in 17 tries as they crushed Spanish minnows Cetransa El Salvador 84-6 in their European Challenge Cup Pool 4 clash.

Winger Norman Ligairi top-scored with four, but there were hat-tricks for centre Ben Johnston and wing Regis Bianco as the French side ran riot. Johnston crossed for the first try after nine minutes after Cetransa had taken the lead with a penalty from inside centre Nava Nava.

Ligairi bagged his first after 11 minutes before Bianco, Guillaume Namy and flanker Alex Manta all crossed to give Brive a 34-6 half-time lead. It took Johnston only two minutes of the second half to extend Brive's lead, and against a rapidly tiring Cetransa side they pulled clear with ease, racking up 50 unanswered points in the second half.
