Mont de Marsan 15-21 Viadana

Viadana picked up their second European Challenge Cup win with a hard-fought 21-15 victory over Mont de Marsan, a result that keeps pressure on Saracens and Bayonne ahead of their clash later on Saturday.

Viadana fly-half Charles Hore gave his side the points with an immaculate kicking display, landing seven penalties to deny their French opponents. Mont de Marsan crossed the whitewash on two occasions, first when Simon Ternisien scored just after the hour and secondly when Frederic Urruty notched a five pointer with time elapsed on the clock.

Viadana now sit a point behind Sarries on eight, with the Watford club looking to cement their grip on the Pool with a big win over Bayonne.
