Connacht kept their European Challenge Cup hopes alive with a 30-3 bonus point victory over Rovigo in their Pool 1 clash at the Galway Sportsground. Scrum-half Frank Murphy grabbed a brace of tries for the hosts with hooker Adrian Flavin and lock Andrew Farley also getting on the scoresheet. Fly-half Ian Keatley slotted two conversions and two penalties. Rovigo's only points came courtesy of a drop goal from fullback Stefan Basson. The victory enabled Connacht to cement second place in Pool 1 behind London Irish who secured their fourth successive bonus point win with a big victory over Dax on Thursday night.
