Petrarca Padova produced a remarkable fight-back to snatch victory from Bourgoin in their European Challenge Cup Pool Three clash. Bourgoin raced into a 17-8 half-time lead and looked to be in control with tries from Anthony Forest, Jean-Francois Coux and Bryce Williams before Padova fought back. The home side crossed for three tries of their own, with a brace from No.8 Gonzalo Padrò and another from his back-row colleague Nicolas Galatro. Former Gloucester fly-half Ludovic Mercier landed two conversions and two penalties to give his side the slimmest of winning margins and cement second-place in the Pool behind Worcester.
