Munster centre Lifeimi Mafi is a doubt for their Heineken Cup opener against London Irish after being cited in their Magners League defeat to Leinster at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

Mafi has been called up for a high tackle and alleged striking following an incident involving Ireland centre Gordon D'Arcy in the 19th minute. He was later shown yellow for another high tackle at the redeveloped Lansdowne Road.

Brian O'Driscoll scored a late try for Leinster to seal victory, condemning their fierce rivals to their first defeat of the season.

Mafi's hearing will take place on Tuesday in Belfast, with the most pressing concern for the region being their away trip to face the Exiles on Saturday.
