Not a lot of chatter between the drivers as they wait for the podium ceremony. Unusual to see Raikkonen not have much to say...

The German national anthem plays for Rosberg. No other driver has won a race since the US Grand Prix last year. Raikkonen looks positively thrilled with his trophy... and less so after being sprayed with the Rosewater on the champagne. Get that man some vodka.

Lap 57

A very tasty fight between Kvyat and Massa happening right behind Rosberg. The race leader must have his eyes peeled on his mirrors. Kvyat moves up to eighth position, Massa on very, very old rubber.

Rosberg wins the 2016 Bahrain Grand Prix for back-to-back victories in 2016 and his fifth win on the bounce.

Raikkonen and Hamilton round off the podium places. Ricciardo claims fourth while Grosjean takes a brilliant fifth position for Haas.

Rosberg's last effort three tenths quicker than Raikkonen's last - game over, not that it wasreally on anyway.

Ericsson defending like a man driving for his career out there as he refuses to budge under pressure from Wehrlein at Turn 1. He locks up heavily at the end of the first sector but not enough for Wehrlein to take advantage.

Rosberg's lead is still a healthy six seconds. It seems to change by a couple of tenths either way every lap but it looks like the German has plenty of time in hand.

Wehrlein goes too deep into Turn 10 as he chases down the Sauber of Ericsson. Manor has a very good young driver on its hands here.
