Kimi Raikkonen has revealed he is awaiting some payment from his Lotus team.

ESPN understands that part of the issue stems from the team having yet to receive funds from new shareholders Infinity Racing who bought a 35% stake in the team in June. Lotus is the only one of the front-running team which does not have a title sponsorship deal, and the news that Raikkonen hasn't been fully paid comes at a time when he is considering whether to stay with the team or potentially move to Red Bull to replace Mark Webber.

Asked directly about the lack of payment, Raikkonen said he wasn't overly concerned having been in a similar situation in 2012.

"Sure there is an issue but we had it last year and we have it again," Raikkonen said. "It's not ideal but I'm sure they will pay at some point."
