Alonso drives the LaFerrari supercar at Fiorano

As one of the perks of his day job, Fernando Alonso has been driving the new LaFerrari supercar at the Fiorano test track in Maranello. The car has a 6.3-litre V12 engine and an F1-style KERS to produce a total of 950bhp, 664lb ft of torque and a top speed of 217mph.

The car is in direct competition with McLaren's P1 that Jenson Button drove at the launch of the MP4-28 earlier this year.
