Kovalainen gets Spa and Monza FP1 drives
Caterham has announced that Heikki Kovalainen will drive for the team in FP1 at both Spa and Monza.
Kovalainen - who drove for the team for three seasons before being dropped at the end of 2012 - has previously driven for Caterham during free practice in both Bahrain and Barcelona. On those occasions Kovalainen's experience was being used to evaluate a major upgrade on the car.
Caterham confirmed via Twitter that Kovalainen would be taking part in the next two FP1 sessions, taking over Charles Pic's car in Belgium and then Giedo van der Garde's at the Italian Grand Prix.
Mirroring the work @H_Kovalainen did for us in FP1 in Bahrain & Barcelona, he'll be giving us another view of the car here at Spa & in Monza
