Fernando Alonso has revealed that Ferrari has not changed its front wing design since Hungary, ahead of a more stringent flexibility test expected after qualifying or the race.

The interest in the wing comes after photos and video footage at recent grands prix showed both Red Bull's and Ferrari's front wing endplates running low to the ground at high speed. On Friday, the governing body - having ramped ups its flexibility test for the Belgian event - declared the wings on the McLaren and Red Bull legal.

"On our part we have not changed anything, we have the same parts [wings] as in Hungary," Fernando Alonso said.

At the wheel of the F10, Alonso was quickest in both of Friday's practice sessions.

"It was definitely a positive day because the car seemed to respond well in all track conditions we encountered," he added.
