Jenson Button will host his first triathlon this weekend when the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon takes place in the UK.

A number of Formula One drivers have taken to triathlons in order to add a competitive edge to their fitness training, with Button and Nico Rosberg keen triathletes. Button has now set up his own triathlon on the Luton Hoo estate, which will be recorded for Channel 4 television and will raise money for the Help for Heroes charity.

"I've been talking about hosting my own Triathlon for a while now and am delighted it's finally happening," Button said. "I've been lucky enough to punish myself in triathlons around the world and it's become a big part of my life and the perfect way to train for F1.

"I wanted to put on something different and give competitors more of a unique experience, which with the format and the venue I'm confident we'll achieve."
