Nico Hulkenberg says he does not know where he will be racing in 2013, but there is still a chance he will be at Force India.

Hulkenberg has been linked to a drive at Ferrari to replace Felipe Massa, who is under pressure after a lacklustre couple of years at the Italian team. The Force India driver is seen as a solid stand-in until 2014 when it is rumoured Sebastian Vettel might join Ferrari from Red Bull.

Following on from Lewis Hamilton's announcement that he will drive for Mercedes in 2013 and the news that Sergio Perez will replace him at McLaren, Hulkenberg is seen as one of the key players in the driver market.

"Obviously there has been quite a lot of movement last week and there is still a lot of speculation out there," he said. "All I can say is that for my future nothing has been announced yet. We will have to wait a bit more."

Asked if he had been in talks with other teams, Hulkenberg added: "There has been a lot of movement and there are still talks with my current team - there's still a chance that I will race here. But with the movement there was last week things happened."

He said he did not know where he would be next year but that he did feel ready to drive for a top team should the opportunity present itself.

"I'm just here to concentrate on my job here," he said. "If you do a good job, as we've seen with Sergio, things can happen and journalists put you into various seats, but it's all hypothetical."
