Glock poised to leave Marussia
Timo Glock has parted company with Marussia, according to a report in Germany.
A report on Sport Bild claims that Glock and Marussia will announce the split on Monday, with the two parting by mutual consent. The report also quotes Glock - who has been with the team since it entered Formula One as Virgin Racing in 2010 - as saying he wants to look for "new challenges".
"I have had three great years at the Marussia F1 team," Glock said. "We part on amicable terms. I want to find new challenges for myself and continue my journey in motorsport."
Glock was set to be partnered by Max Chilton in 2013, with Chilton having replaced the outgoing Charles Pic, who moves to Caterham. Glock's contract ran until the end of 2014, having signed a new three-year deal in 2011.
