QPR snap up Dyer

QPR have signed former England international Kieron Dyer on a one-year deal.
Dyer, 32, was a free agent following his release by West Ham and, although he has suffered a series of injuries in recent years, Warnock feels it is worth giving him another chance to prove his worth.
"As far as I'm concerned it's a gamble worth taking," Warnock told the London Evening Standard. "He really impressed me in training and it looks like he has been working hard on his fitness throughout the summer.
"He has a lot of experience and is desperate to play in the Premier League again. I like the hunger he's got and he wants to prove a point. I really appreciate his commitment.
"There were other clubs in for him and he could have earned more money elsewhere, but he wants to play for QPR. He wanted to stay in London and I think he can really help us."
Dyer, whose career has been plagued by injuries, is desperate to make up for lost time at Loftus Road.
"I'm just delighted to be here," he told the club's official website. "QPR are an ambitious club and when I sat down with Neil and he explained the vision for the club - specificially the hunger and the determination of the squad - I just wanted to be part of it. He totally sold the club to me.
"I have got something to prove after the last couple of years I have had, but I feel good and I am really looking forward to playing my part next season."
Warnock is also hoping to sign Tottenham right-back Kyle Naughton.
"We have a great relationship with Spurs and we tried to sign Kyle in January before he went to Leicester," Warnock said. "We can give him Premier League experience and help him develop in the same way Kyle Walker benefited from being on loan from Spurs at Aston Villa."
