Given set for Villa switch

Aston Villa have agreed a fee with Manchester City for goalkeeper Shay Given, according to reports.
The Republic of Ireland international has been eyeing a chance to secure first-team football having fallen behind Joe Hart in the pecking order at Eastlands.
With Brad Friedel now at Tottenham, Villa were in the market for a new keeper and they looked to have secured the services of one of the Premier League's finest shot-stoppers. Given, 35, is now set to undergo a medical before sealing a switch to Villa Park, in a deal worth a reported £3.5 million.
The former Newcastle keeper could become Alex McLeish's first signing, although the club have launched a £10 million bid for Wigan winger Charles N'Zogbia.
