No loan deals for United duo

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has no intention of sending Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley out on loan this season.
Welbeck and Cleverley both excelled in loan periods at Sunderland and Wigan respectively last season and there has been some speculation they will be ushered away again. However, Ferguson is keen to keep the pair at Old Trafford.
Ferguson has signalled his intentions for the season, putting his faith in youth with the signings of goalkeeper David De Gea and Phil Jones as United prepare for the defence of their Premier League title.
Despite the anticipated battle for places, the United boss believes both Welbeck and Cleverley will be pushing for a first-team role this season.
"They won't go on loan again," Ferguson confirmed. "Going on loan only serves one purpose; keeping them happy by playing all the time. At their ages, it wouldn't do us any good because other clubs would be benefiting from what we could be benefiting from.
"Welbeck is an England international now. He is an exceptional talent. And Cleverley will play for England too. He is an intelligent modern-day footballer. His movement and understanding of space is really good for a young player. We are happy both of them will stay with us."
