Lampard scores as Chelsea hit four

Chelsea produced arguably their best display of the pre-season programme to date as they overcame a Thai Premier League representative side 4-0 on Sunday.
Andre Villas-Boas' men had certainly not enjoyed ideal conditions prior to kick-off, forced to train in torrential rain that turned their facilities into a bog on Saturday.
However, the Blues made the most of a more favourable surface in Bangkok, finding the net with ease as they fielded a strong-looking line-up. Petr Cech was able to feature for the first time following a minor injury, while the likes of John Terry, Lampard, Fernando Torres, Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba all played a part.
Lampard scored just before half-time to hand Chelsea the lead, sending a low shot into the corner from outside the area. Jose Bosingwa then doubled the advantage before Branislav Ivanovic added a third when he swapped passes with Josh McEachran.
Florent Malouda completed the scoring late on, putting the seal on a good workout for Chelsea, who made 11 changes during the match.
Everton ended their US tour with a 3-1 win over DC United at RFK Stadium. David Moyes' side made a quick start in tough conditions, scoring twice in 16 minutes through Victor Anichebe and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.
Anichebe finished from a tough angle in the fourth minute after Leighton Baines' pass. Bilyaletdinov then converted a superb move involving Jack Rodwell, Ross Barkley and Apostolos Vellios. The Toffees' lead was later halved, but Magaye Gueye clinched the win on 81 minutes after a good cross from Jermaine Beckford.
Newcastle continue to look goal-shy, losing 1-0 to Orlando City at the Citrus Bowl. The Magpies fell behind on 75 minutes, but almost found an equaliser when Haris Vuckic saw his strike chalked off for offside.
