Inter Milan tell United Sneijder is available

Inter Milan chief executive Ernesto Paolillo has suggested the club could be ready to sell Wesley Sneijder, but that Manchester United have not made any contact.
Sir Alex Ferguson recently insisted that United will not bring any more players in during the summer transfer window, despite a shortage of creative midfield talent in his squad and relentless speculation over a pursuit for Netherlands international Sneijder. The United boss claimed none of his top targets were available.
However, United have since been linked with AS Roma's Montenegro international Mirko Vucinic, and it seems momentum is growing once again behind Ferguson performing a U-turn on 27-year-old Sneijder. Chief executive David Gill recently went against his manager's official line by declaring that United could sign one more "world class" player.
Speaking after the announcement of the Serie A fixtures, Paolillo told Sky Sport Italia: "Are Manchester United still after Sneijder? We haven't seen or heard from anyone; that's a story I've heard from you.
"Is Wesley definitely not for sale? I don't think there's anything that can't be sold, it all depends on the price. You never say no if a big opportunity comes your way, but it does have to be a real opportunity."
Inter could pay for the transfer of Manchester City's Carlos Tevez by selling Sneijder. Paolillo said of Tevez: "We can't stop him from coming to Milan or going to the same beaches as [Inter chief Marco] Branca, but we're not going there looking for him."
