Tevez likely to stay at City - Mancini
Roberto Mancini has revealed he expects Carlos Tevez to stay at Manchester City this season because of lack of interest in the striker.
Tevez, who handed in a transfer request at the beginning of the summer, looked to be on his way out of Eastlands, before a move to former club Corinthians fell through at the 11th hour.
Inter Milan had also been linked with the Argentine, with Samuel Eto'o rumoured to be heading to Eastlands in a swap deal, but with Eto'o now heading for Russia, a move to Italy for Tevez now looks unlikely.
The forward is back in Manchester after returning from international duty at the Copa America with Argentina, and Mancini admits Tevez could still be a City player when the transfer window closes on August 31.
"It is two weeks until the end of the market," Mancini said. "I think it is difficult for him to leave. I don't know if he will stay but at the moment, there isn't a team who want to take him. I would be happy if he stays."
