Nasri calls on Arsenal fans to back Wenger

Fresh from accusing Arsenal fans of lacking passion, Manchester City's new boy Samir Nasri has called on the Gunners faithful to "trust" Arsene Wenger.
Nasri signed a four-year contract with City on Wednesday - the same day Arsenal booked their place in the group stage of the Champions League - to put an end to one of the summer's major transfer sagas.
The Frenchman gave an interview to City's official website claiming the Arsenal fans have lacked passion since moving to the Emirates. But despite putting the boot in, Nasri has called on the supporters to back under-pressure manager Wenger.
"I am the player I am today because of Arsene Wenger and Arsenal and I will never criticise them," Nasri said. "He came to find me at Marseille and made me the player I am.
"The only thing I have to say to the fans is to trust Arsene Wenger. He knows what he is doing.
"He has been a great manager for the club for 15 years, they have to trust him. He is a wonderful human being and deserves a lot of respect."
