QPR have bid for SWP accepted

Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips is to hold discussions with Queens Park Rangers and two other clubs over a potential move, his agent has confirmed.
Wright-Phillips, 29, has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium as a result of their huge investment on players in recent years and he has been linked heavily with Bolton over the summer.
Agent Wayne Lindsay said: ''There have been three bids accepted, one from QPR, and at some point he will be speaking to all those clubs.''
The R's are likely to be active players in the closing days of the transfer market following the takeover by Tony Fernandes, and they are believed to be closing in on the capture of Joey Barton from Newcastle, while Aston Villa defender Luke Young is in talks about a move.
