Aston Villa midfielder Jonathan Hogg has joined Watford for an undisclosed fee.
Hogg, 22, has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with Watford and told the Championship club's official website that he was "desperate to play first-team football".
Villa manager Alex McLeish said: "Everyone at the club wishes Jonathan well and every success in his career. Jonathan has a great attitude and we know he will do very well as a player at Watford."
Hogg will be eligible to make his debut for Sunday's match against Birmingham.
