Baines ruled out of Wales clash
Leighton Baines has returned to Everton after being ruled out of England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales with a hamstring injury.
The defender sustained the injury during training on Sunday and has been sent to Goodison Park for treatment.
Fabio Capello's squad has now been reduced to 22, following the news that Darren Bent and Micah Richards had sustained injuries in the build-up to Tuesday's clash at Wembley.
Having opted not to bring in any replacements, Capello is likely to bring Joleon Lescott onto the bench as cover for left-back Ashley Cole.
England are looking for another three points to further cement their position at the top of Group G, and a win would leave them needing just a draw from their trip to Montenegro next month to secure their place at Euro 2012.
