Arsenal v Porto
Arsenal must overturn a one-goal deficit against the Portuguese champions without their captain Cesc Fabregas, who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

The Gunners, who trail 2-1 from the first leg, will call on Sol Campbell in central defence to replace William Gallas. The 31-year-old Frenchman will be out for a month after aggravating a long-standing calf injury.

Campbell will be seeking to atone for his role in Porto's calamitous second goal at the Estadio do Dragao, when he saw his backpass picked up by Lukasz Fabianski. Porto, abetted by the referee's prompt retrieval of the ball, scored from the resultant free-kick.

Arsene Wenger's side have not overturned a losing first-leg position to win in Europe for 32 years, but the Arsenal boss remains optimistic about his side's chances. "To score away from home, like we did in the first leg, is still a massive advantage - that is why we are confident," he said.

"If we had lost 1-0 it would have been a terrible result. This is completely different. We know it's a tricky game, we believe we can do it, so let's just go for it."

Porto, who have never won in 14 visits to England, are not perturbed by their 4-0 defeat on their last visit to the Emirates on September 2008. "We know what our qualities are and we are confident," boss Jesualdo Ferreira said. "This will be a very difficult match, but we have the weapons which make it tough for Arsenal.

"You need to be able to adapt tactically, but we are always playing to win. We will try to do the same what we did at Estadio do Dragao."

Fiorentina v Bayern Munich
The German side's star wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are both expected to start in Italy despite not featuring in the weekend league fixture at Cologne. Bayern, top of the Bundesliga and unbeaten in 18 matches, carry a 2-1 advantage into the game after scoring a fortuitous last minute goal in the first leg - Miroslav Klose was indisputably offside when he headed in the winner.

Fiorentina, Serie A's 11th-placed side, are unable to call on ex-Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu due to suspension.
