City win not good enough - Mancini

Manchester City may have claimed maximum points from their opening four matches, but Roberto Mancini believes his side are far from the finished article.
Sergio Aguero's hat-trick helped City ease to a 3-0 win at home to Wigan, but despite three points and a clean sheet, Mancini was not content. With just a single-goal cushion at half-time, and it was not until after the hour mark that City closed out the match with two goals in seven minutes. And with 14 first-half misses, Mancini believes his side need to be more clinical if they are to keep up their title challenge.
"We need to improve because we have started the season very well but the season will be long. If we want to arrive at the end of the season still at the top we need to improve," Mancini said.
"We had 15 chances in the first half and we scored only one goal - this is a problem because the game can change any moment. Next time it's better if we close out the game in the first half."
Carlos Tevez made his first start of the season but failed to get on the scoresheet as he missed a first-half penalty.
"Carlo is not 100% at the moment but I am happy for him because for me he played very well with Sergio, he missed a penalty but this can happen - usually he scores," Mancini added. "It was important for him to start, to play and to play well and maybe in two or three games he will be 100%."
