Wilshere upbeat on Arsenal return

Jack Wilshere appears to be closing in on a return to action with Arsenal after issuing an upbeat bulletin on his injured ankle.
Wilshere has not played for Arsenal this term, having aggravated an ankle problem in pre-season, and the midfielder has been missed with the Gunners making a poor start to the campaign.
Despite being in need of Wilshere's talent in the middle of the park, Arsenal have resisted the temptation to thrust the England international back too soon. November has been put forward as a return date and the midfielder would appear to be on schedule.
Wilshere wrote on Twitter: "Good day at football today! In the gym again! Ankle feeling a lot better. Hope to be back playing soon!"
Arsenal are 17th in the Premier League table, one point above the relegation spots, and were beaten by Blackburn at the weekend having twice held the lead.
