Drogba mulling over Chelsea offer
Andre Villas-Boas has insisted a contract offer remains on the table for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
Drogba has been a mainstay of the Chelsea forward line since joining the club from Marseille in 2004, but at 33 he is heading towards the veteran stage of his career and is in the final year of his current deal.
Bayern Munich are rumoured to be readying an offer for the striker in the January transfer window, but Blues boss Villas-Boas claims nothing has changed and that the striker remains firmly in Chelsea's plans.
"There is nothing new," Villas-Boas said. "It is better for us to say something when there is something to announce.
"There is an offer on the table and we are dealing with that, end of story."
