Tottenham have dropped their bid for a judicial review into the decision to award the Olympic Stadium to West Ham.

Tottenham and Leyton Orient had appealed against the decision to award West Ham the stadium, but a spokesman for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) confirmed that the hearing would no longer be taking place.

"We have come to an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur, where all parties will bear their own legal costs," he told insidethegames.

The latest development comes a week after the collapse of the deal for the Hammers to take control of the stadium following the London 2012 Games. The Olympic Park Legacy Committee (OPLC) decided that the site will remain under public ownership after concerns were raised about whether legal challenges would put the future ownership of the stadium at risk.

The OPLC plans to open a new tender process, with a view to finding a tenant for the Olympic Stadium who will be willing to pay an annual rent of around £2 million.
