Wolves clash more important than United - Kompany

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has warned his team-mates that their derby day rout of rivals Manchester United will count for nothing if they end the season without silverware.
City's 6-1 thrashing of their arch-rivals sparked wild celebrations on the blue side of Manchester, but Kompany is keen to see his side kick on from their triumph.
City travel to Wolves for their Carling Cup fourth round clash on Wednesday, and the Belgium international claims the Molineux clash is more important than their Old Trafford showdown, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.
"It was one of those days where you've written history, but it's not the greatest goal this season," Kompany said. "The greatest goal for us is to hopefully be champions and lift trophies, so that's when we'll celebrate.
"It was a beautiful day and we made history, but it was only three points. That's how we have to look at it. It was only three points and maybe the game against Wolves is more important."
