Ferdinand reveals 'strong feelings' on Terry saga

Anton Ferdinand has released a statement insisting he has "strong feelings" on the race row involving himself and Chelsea captain John Terry, but the Queens Park Rangers defender has elected to leave the matter up to the Football Association.
The Football Association has launched an investigation into an incident involving Terry and Ferdinand during QPR's win at Loftus Road on October 23.
Terry has denied allegations of racial abuse, insisting there had been a misunderstanding and he was responding to a perceived accusation from Ferdinand that he had used a racist slur.
Ferdinand made no comment until Monday, when he confirmed he had provided a statement to the FA. He has revealed he has "strong feelings" on the issue, but will not be passing any further comment until the inquiry is concluded.
"Today (October 31, 2011) I finalised my statement with the Football Association with regards to the incident that occurred last Sunday at Loftus Road in our Barclays Premier League fixture against Chelsea," Ferdinand said in a statement.
"I have very strong feelings on the matter, but in the interests of fairness and not wishing to prejudice what I am sure will be a very thorough enquiry by the FA, this will be my last comment on the subject until the inquiry is concluded
"I would like to thank the club, Tony Fernandes, Amit Bhatia, Neil Warnock, the supporters and my fellow professionals for their unwavering support."
