Villas-Boas charged by FA

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association, over comments he made about referee Chris Foy after last month's defeat to Queens Park Rangers.
In a game that saw two Chelsea players sent off and QPR secure a 1-0 win thanks to a first-half penalty, Villas-Boas was subsequently vocal in his criticism of Foy - branding his performance "very, very poor" and questioning the consistency of his decision-making
The 34-year-old stuck to his criticism of Foy in the aftermath, although he insisted he had not broken FA rules. However, the governing body disagree.
"Andre Villas-Boas has been charged with improper conduct following media comments he made about the match official," the FA confirmed in a statement.
The Portuguese has until Tuesday to respond to the charge.
