Coyle puts Spurs and Arsenal on alert over Cahill

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle admits he may be forced to sell England international defender Gary Cahill in January.
Cahill, 25, is out of contract next summer and there is no sign of a new deal being agreed, meaning Bolton could lose him for nothing.
They had the chance to cash in on Cahill during the most recent transfer window - both Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly making bids - but opted not to. However, in January they may not have the luxury of being able to say no, with the threat of relegation hovering over the club.
Whether the two north London clubs return to the negotiating table remains to be seen - Arsenal bought defender Per Mertesacker after being frustrated in their attempts to sign Cahill, while Spurs have been able to call on injury-prone captain Ledley King more than they could last season.
Coyle said: "I would love to work with Gary Cahill every day of the week for as long as I could because he's a top player and a fantastic young man - but sometimes things are taken out of your grasp and we'll have to wait and see what January brings. But at this moment in time [what matters] is that we continue to improve as a team, pick up points and move up the league."
Bolton are 18th in the Premier League table, having lost eight of 11 matches this season - although they impressed on their most recent outing, crushing Stoke 5-0 at home.
