Chelsea accept Anelka & Alex transfer requests

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed Nicolas Anelka and Alex have had transfer requests accepted.
The Sun reported on Saturday morning that the duo were no longer training with the first-team squad after expressing their desire to leave Stamford Bridge in January.
Villas-Boas, speaking after Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Newcastle, has now confirmed that the pair are available for transfer and will play no further part in his plans.
"The conversation was fair and direct with the players," Villas-Boas said. "They are top professionals and their professionalism and integrity is never in question but on recent results and form we have decided to try to get the group together and we have decided to assign different training times for them.
"The transfer requests were accepted but it doesn't mean it will happen and if it doesn't happen they will return to full training."
