No-one leaving Spurs in Jan - Redknapp
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has put his foot down over Spurs' wantaway stars, saying none will be allowed to leave the club in January.
The likes of Vedran Corluka, Sebastien Bassong and Roman Pavlyuchenko have been tipped to exit White Hart Lane, having failed to establish themselves as first-team regulars this season.
Redknapp has been reluctant to make too many tweaks to his side in the Premier League given Spurs' run of form, which has seen them climb to third in the table following an unbeaten streak that extends back to August.
But he has assured the fringe players that they are likely to get a chance later in the season - even though Spurs face elimination from the Europa League, where the second string have been given a chance to play. Tottenham are three points behind second-placed Rubin Kazan with one game remaining in Group A.
Redknapp said: "We won't be selling any of our best players. If we're going to do anything we'll be adding to the squad - we won't weaken the squad at all. That's the message from both myself and the chairman. People who aren't in the squad are disappointed but we're going to need the squad."
