Redknapp avoids FA charge for Foy comments

Harry Redknapp has been warned as to his future conduct by the Football Association for his comments about the officials following Tottenham's defeat at Stoke.
The Spurs boss saw his side suffer their first Premier League defeat since August on Sunday and took aim at referee Chris Foy following the game.
"I never go and talk to referees after a game, I accept defeat," he said. "I never complain about referees' decisions - I have not done it in 30 years of management, never. But today, I'm afraid, he got some badly wrong."
Redknapp felt his side should have had a penalty and also fumed about the decision to disallow a goal from Emmanuel Adebayor and the dismissal of Younes Kaboul.
The FA looked into Redknapp's comments and felt it appropriate to issue him with a warning.
An FA spokesman said: "We have written to Harry Redknapp following his post-match comments on Sunday warning him as to his future conduct."
