Macheda in line for United loan exit

Manchester United striker Federico Macheda will go out on loan in January in a bid to play more regular football, according to his agent Giovanni Bia.
Macheda, 20, burst onto the scene in 2008 when he scored a last-minute winner on his debut against Aston Villa, but has struggled to assert himself on the United first-team since then.
Sir Alex Ferguson sent the Italy Under-21 international to Sampdoria last January, but he did not register a single league goal in 14 appearances as the club were relegated from Serie A.
And having played just five times this season for United, with no Premier League starts to his name, Macheda's representative admitted the young forward will probably have to move elsewhere in order to rebuild his goalscoring reputation.
"I spoke last week with Ferguson; I think that Federico will play somewhere else in January," Bia told Sportal. "He can no longer continue to be on the field for only 15 or 20 minutes, he must absolutely find more space.
"There are requests, but not from Italy. In the first week of January we will evaluate the proposals that we've received. Macheda's departure, however, has nothing to do with the elimination from the Champions League of United "
